Review of the Year 2014 – May

I was out and about around Scotland quite a bit in May. I enjoyed a sunny trip to Inverness, where both Girvans and Riva were very good.

I really enjoyed the Indian street food excellence on offer at Glasgow’s Babu Kitchen.

Closer to home, we welcomed Our Beer Man to the team. We sampled a great breakfast roll at the Thistle Sandwich Bar, too.

Sandwich delights from Jacob, gamey treats from Wildest Drams, delicious coffee from Fortitude and a great burger at the Broughton Deli were other highlights.

In what was pretty much the lowlight of the year Merchant’s was a complete disaster from start to finish. It struck a chord with readers, though, as it was the most popular review of the month.
