Review of the Year 2014 – June

June was a cracker of a month with enjoyable Glasgow experiences at McCune Smith, the Arches and Where the Monkey Sleeps.

I enjoyed great work in different styles from Moratti and Cafe Cassis.

Our trip to Dundee to visit The Parlour Cafe was our most popular review of the month.

In an action-packed month, there was street food from Scoff and Alplings, and two Grassmarket places that really shone were Mary’s Milk Bar and the Grassmarket Community Cafe.

Our Beer Man really enjoyed Drygate and I just loved the Mithas Street Food Festival. Truly, it was a highly impressive month.

However, the one great sadness from June was the closure of Razzo. It left a very bitter taste in the mouth and marked one of the major low-points of 2014.
