Review of the Year 2014 – July

Italian tastiness from Polentoni

Italian tastiness from Polentoni

After the splendid standard of June, July featured the odd shaky moment. Daft Jamie’s was pretty poor, as was Bar 50. The former was closed before the year was out.

It was good to welcome the seafood delights of C-Shack to the Edinburgh dining scene, and there was some really enjoyable fare on offer at Harajuku Kitchen, which was the month’s most popular review.

The excellent standard of street food was maintained by Bloombox Salads and Aye Love Real Food.

Excellent baked goods from Archipelago and lovely Italian fare from Polentoniwere other notable experiences.
