The Year in Review – March 2012

Kedgeree from The Rosehip

March saw another month of very good dining experiences. It ended in joint birthday celebrations for MJ and I, at the wonderful Café Domenico’s. It’s where Lunchquest all began, so it seemed a fitting place for a celebratory evening.

Other highlights included good steak and burgers at Bell’s Diner, and restorative pub grub at the Blue Moon Café.

Lowlights were the odd combinations at Leven’s, and the underwhelming Circus.

Our most popular review of the month was The Rosehip, which took over the premises from the twice lamented Seadogs. With a shift to good value pub grub, the place has carved a neat niche for itself. We benefited from being one of the first places to review it, and it has been our most popular review across the course of the year.
