The interior is similarly luminescent with lime green and yellow walls. I paused at their counter to contemplate their extensive selection outlined on several blackboards. My eyes hit upon something called the Canadian burger so I ordered that and a bowl of their soup of the day, which was tomato.
I took a seat in their eclectically appointed back room and waited for my items to be prepared. The soup soon arrived in a smart bowl. It was good simple fare. The burger and chips were quite something. Aside from the fresh morning roll, nothing was of particularly high quality but it all came together in quite jolly fashion. The egg and bacon worked well, although the burger itself wasn’t great.
The chips were topped with thick gravy and cheese. It was filling and quite tasty so did the lunchtime hunger-chasing job quite proficiently. So overall, My Way was a curious little place. It’s in the bracket of “good for a hangover” as the things on offer are fun, filling and reasonably priced. They brought me little heart-shaped biscuits to try, which looked to be freshly made, so maybe their sweet selection is worth investigating. I was charmed by this quirky little place so can see myself visiting again.
