Fazeli’s Deli – SADLY NOW CLOSED
I had intended to finally check out the Bad Tempered Baker on today’s early morning visit to Leith, but it was sadly closed for the day. Instead I headed to nearby Fazeli’s Deli for the required breakfast snackage.
A compact little cafe more suited to takeaway than sitting in, the welcome was immediately warm from the friendly counter woman. She was attentive throughout which made for a really positive service experience.
My requirements were simple: a hearty breakfast roll. I opted for bacon and black pudding on a fresh brown roll. I was asked whether I wanted the bacon crisp or lightly cooked which was a nice touch. I opted for the latter.
I was soon tucking in. It proved really rather good eating with the filling nicely cooked, profuse and satisfying, and the roll of good, fresh quality.
So overall, Fazeli’s did a pleasing job of addressing my morning food needs. Service was a strength and the breakfast roll I had was really good. I’d be happy to visit again.
