Review of the Year 2014 – March

March had very few misfires, with a rather pleasing standard maintained throughout visits to a range of places.

Again, street food proved popular with Ninja Buns proving the busiest review of the month. Showcasing Taiwanese gua bao steamed buns, the stall proved a big hit with punters. They continued to appear throughout the year with a regular pitch on Middle Meadow Walk.

I enjoyed a couple of very good trip to Glasgow, with Le Bistro Beaumartin proving particularly pleasing.

Qupi, Kalpna and Feast were all highly enjoyable stop-offs, too.

A special mention needs to be given to McArthur’s, home of the now legendary breakfast pie. It was certainly the photo I tweeted the most, in 2014. Every couple of months I feel to the need to share it. I don’t see that stopping in 2015.
