Wandering up West Regent Street, I came upon Nic’s NYC Deli, on crossways Hope Street. I popped in to check it out. This is their second branch in the city, following the success of their shop on St Enoch’s Square. This outlet is very stylishly appointed, in the diner style. I liked the look of it, very much.
I was not blessed with an excess of time, so was just grabbing a quick breakfast roll on the go. I opted for black pudding and bacon as the filling.
The friendly counter woman swiftly prepared things, so I was soon on my way.
So overall, I enjoyed my quick trip to Nic’s. I will need to go back for another visit, when I should sit in and try some of their dishes that have a stronger NYC link. I look forward to that.
