September 19, 2011 City Centre, soup 1 Comment

Here’s a quick post, following a really positive recommendation for the from loyal reader and contributor, Frauke.

The opened its doors at the start of the “summer” as a hybrid bar, restaurant and bistro, featuring locally sourced produce alongside a range of quality beverages.

With the day off work and the weather somewhat favourable, Frauke popped in for a light soup and sandwich lunch. She described their leek and potato soup as simply the best she’d ever eaten in a restaurant.

Sadly, she had “demolished” both the soup and her sandwich before I’d made the plea for a photograph, so you’ll just need to head along and see what they look like for yourself.

You might find us their, if you time it right, as the prospect of top quality soup is enough to ensure that the will be on our list for a full review, soon.
