As regular readers will know, we have an interest in the world of literature with our work on The Istanbul Review. Part of that endeavour led to a really inspiring chat with Sara Sheridan, author of amongst other things the Mirabelle Bevan mysteries, during which she introduced us to the sestude.
This is a literary form that comprises precisely 62 words. In magpie mode we pinched the idea, adapted its name for our purposes and hey presto: the questude was born!
When we have guests along for lunch, particularly those who are writers, we invite them to pen a questude to add their perspective. We hope you enjoy these little vignettes.
