Cub
An exquisite blend of splendidly executed, imaginative dishes and knockout cocktails make Cub an absolutely unmissable dining experience.

Alyn Williams at The Westbury
Classic fine dining with dishes executed to an exceptional standard. Great value at lunchtime, too.

St John Bread & Wine
Nose-to-tail excellence from the masters of the craft.

White Horse Oyster & Seafood Bar
An exceptionally accomplished restaurant showcasing the best Scottish seafood. An exquisite dining experience.

Umezushi
An absolutely outstanding place for Japanese food, Manchester’s Umezushi is one to add to your list next time you’re in town.

The Market Pub
An very happy accidental find in Chesterfield, the Market Pub serves outstandingly good pub grub with their venison pie just splendid.

The Register Club
Elegant, stylish and quite unlike anything else in the city, The Register Club is an excellent new addition to Edinburgh’s food and drink options.

Sam’s Chop House
Even when hungover to absolute fuck, the quality of Sam’s shone through. Their corned beef hash is an absolutely outstanding dish.

Seeds for the Soul
An excellent little cafe in Bruntsfield, packed with vegan and free-from delights.

Steampunk
A really well thought out space in North Berwick with outstanding coffee and a really good quality food menu.

Taisteal
An outstanding meal with dishes full of elegance and charm.

Toast
A stylish wine bar with a food menu packed with tempting dishes.

Yamato
The best place for Japanese food in the city, only rivalled by sister restaurant Kanpai.

The Dogs
The Dogs is one of the city’s finest eateries. Always striving to improve and offer even better value, it’s much-valued local gem that should be on everyone’s list for a visit.

Good Brothers
A classy wine bar serving a small plates menu filled with dishes strong on flavour and elegance.

Henri
A belter of a sausage sandwich with the Toulouse sausages made to Henri’s own recipe by the porky masters at Puddledub. Henri is an excellent place and a real enduring favourite.

The Little Chartroom
Fresh, seasonal cooking is to the fore in this great little restaurant.

Noir
With more and more of their food menu created in-house, Noir has developed into a really splendid West End cafe.

Polentoni
An enduring favourite and probably my favourite place for Italian food in the city, Polentoni’s understated northern Italian charms are a joy to behold.
