As the sprint finish towards the completion of #falafelquest gathers further momentum, the mania for sesame balls has reached almost fever pitch.
After unsuccessfully scouting a couple of nearby places, I stumbled upon the Shore Avocado on Constitution Street. It was serving just the wrap contents I was looking for.
From the same team as very nearby Printworks, Shore Avocado is a relatively new addition. It’s a pretty simple counter sandwich and baked potato place serving the needs of the many office workers in the district.
I spotted a large vat of coronation chicken at their deli counter so clearly should have visited as part of coronation chicken quest, too.
The welcome was effusively warm and friendly. It felt like the place had been quiet and they were keen to see a customer.
My intention was simple so a wrap was soon being loaded with falafel, hummus and a generous selection of their salad whatnots. It ended up quite a beast.
It was toasted and soon with me. I munched as I walked in the bright sunshine of an almost spring-like Friday.
It proved a very good eat with particularly enjoyable hummus and plenty of freshness from the various salad whatnots. I liked it a lot.
So overall, the Shore Avocado looks to be doing a fine job. I enjoyed what I sampled and found the service very friendly. Give it a visit next time you fancy a quick, reasonably priced bite on the go.
