Review of the Year 2017 – March

Aside from Wahaca which was as dreary as you could possibly imagine, March was a generally excellent month.

I had a couple of trips to the Edinburgh Food Studio which were as outstanding as ever.


Glasgow provided excellent dining experiences at Ox & Finch, the Spanish Butcher, and the Butchershop plus great espresso at The Steamie and Kaf.

Larder to Go served me the best salad of the year, Shapla the best prawn puri and Thailander the best pad Thai.

Tasty Buns was lovely and Jade Garden had much down at heel charm. These added to the overall sense of March being an outstandingly good month.
