Review of the Year 2017 – July

July was full of eating and drinking joy. Clark & Lake became a real favourite, Baba Budan has now developed into one of the best cafes in the city, Shrimpwreck started their brief tenure at Bourbon, I had my first of many trips to Quay Commons, and likewise the Fat Pony captured much of my time from July onwards.

Rustic Pizza delivered good stylings, Red Kite was oddly priced but generally lovely, we enjoyed a fun Egyptian meal at Nur, and Konbo Arcade Cafe was a pleasing find.

I also managed several days on Mull with the Ninth Wave a highlight. This was followed by much glorious seafood in the various eateries of Oban.

I rounded out the month with a good rant about Sainsbury’s and sandwiches in general.
