Snak Shak
I’m always keen to find interesting nooks wherever I land. Accordingly after a decent walk up and down the mean streets of Wishaw I alighted upon the Snak Shak at the top of Hill Street. I popped in to check it out.

Exterior
With a hugely broad menu, I had quite a lot to take in before settling upon what my best route to success might be.
I settled upon giving their cheeseburger a try. For £2 it seemed like a reasonable wager.
Cooked to order it was with me in prompt order. I munched as I walked down the hill towards the train station.

Burger
A good quality morning roll encased a burger of questionable provenance that had a good fat content and tasted meaty. The cheese slice was a bit of an afterthought but this was an enjoyable eat that represented pretty good value.
So overall, the Snak Shak was a good wee spot for a cheap burger that packed meaty notes. The general aversion to fat in burgers means that many wouldn’t derive as much pleasure from this meagre investment as I did but if flavour is your priority give this place a look next time you’re in these parts.
