Tricia’s
On a crisp and clear Wednesday morning I found myself south of the river in Glasgow in need of a breakfast. I pootled along Paisley Road West and soon came across Tricia’s. It looked a likely spot.Their all day breakfast, including a roll and tea, cost only £3.50 so that sounded too good to miss.
Cooked fresh to order by one of the friendly and talkative counter women, it was soon with me looking much as expected.
The steak slice was the highlight and the runny yolked egg was mighty fine too. I assembled a bacon and black pudding roll – of the lightly crisp variety – which was good, also.
It set me up very nicely for the day of Glaswegianing ahead.
So overall, I enjoyed my fried start to the day at Tricia’s. It kept things simple and did what they do to a good standard. I’d happily call in again for a cheap and cheerful breakfast when I’m next in the neighbourhood.
