Review of the Year – September 2016
Happy Hogmanay! While you prepare to greet 2017 is raucous style, our guide to 2016 continues.
September started with a couple of shaky stops at Prep Fitness Kitchen and Smoke Barbecue, but My Front Room was a good deal better.
Te-Bi Island brought Taiwanese hot rice rolls to Edinburgh. Kezban continued the expansion of good quality Turkish places.
The steaks at Ribaye were really good, as was all of the food at Teuchters Landing.
Ninja Kitchen provided one of the standout lunches of the year. Their Korean cauliflower was memorably splendid. It was the most popular review of the month.
Limpy MJ enjoyed her trips to Mia in Morningside and GoGrill in deepest darkest Glasgow.
Thomas J Walls and Back to Black brought coffee excellence, while Our Beer Man loved Six Degrees North.
The Wall was a tourist trap that should be avoided, but this was a rare disappointment in a very good month.
