Spilt Milk Social Club

Espresso
The place radiates Shoreditch chic in a way that completely fits a musical creative space. I really liked it although it’s a slightly odd fit for this part of Leith.

Interior
My heart sank when I saw that they were using Myrtle as their coffee. To his credit the friendly counter man made it with care and attention but it just isn’t very good coffee. It would be good to see them swap in something better in due course.

Toastie
So overall, although it has some bedding in to do I really rather liked Spilt Milk. It offers something fresh to this part of town and has a really welcoming feel to it. I’d recommend swinging by next time you fancy trying somewhere new in this part of town.
