While I recognised it may be an idea to go with their kebab selection or indeed a donner pizza, I stuck to my tried and tested formula.
The chaps behind the counter were working hard meeting the needs of both face-to-face and phone customers. Once my order was placed, they were quickly about throwing the pizza base and generously topping it.
Within a matter of minutes, I was on my way with item in hand.
It proved a pretty good version of the dish, with plenty of topping items and nicely melted cheese. It did the job rather pleasingly.
So overall, the Original Best Kebab House looks like a reliable source of late night takeaway goodies. It did the job of addressing late night hunger most admirably, so I’d be happy to visit again, perhaps for a go at the fabled donner pizza.
