I’d visited their branches in Edinburgh and Glasgow, in the past, but both had sadly closed. Their last foothold was in this most unlikely place which basked in the deceptively alluring name of Eurocentral.
On this breakfast time visit, I was in the mood for eggs so once I’d taken a seat in the spacious and smartly appointed place, I soon alighted upon talk of scrambled eggs, toast and Ramsay’s of Carluke bacon. This sounded just great to me.
As the soundtrack played a very convincing Morrissey impersonator, I sipped a routine espresso. My eggs were soon with me looking quite bonnie.
I prefer my scrambled eggs to have a bit more softness to them, but these were well seasoned and pretty good. The bacon was of very good quality, as was the toast. This was a very decent dish that hit the spot rather well.
So overall, it was good to find a place of such pleasing quality as Berits and Brown in this rather unorthodox location. If you happen to find yourself here, you can be guaranteed suitable fortification before dealing with whatever business you have to transact. I’ll no doubt be back and will be pleased to try more dishes from their broad selection.
