The welcome was very warm from the accommodating counter chaps. I took a seat at one of their half a dozen or so tables. The place is neat and tidy without offering a wowing decor experience.
I was in the mood for a quick coffee and breakfast roll so ordered espresso and a link sausage roll. The coffee was Italian Aroma which isn’t a particular favourite of mine, but it was as well made an example of these beans as I’ve had so that was a solidly good opener.
The roll was similarly pretty pleasing. Two good sausages were arranged on a fresh brown roll with a liberal amount of brown sauce applied. I was pleased with it.So overall, I thought Weyzig’s was doing solidly good work. Service is a strength and some of their lunchtime sandwich combos sounded good so I’d be happy to pop back for another visit.
