February 13, 2014 Breakfast, Closed, West End No Comments

Bites & Pieces is another little cafe, like Cucina LC and Patisserie Jacob, that’s close to my abode. I popped in for a leisurely breakfast to start the day.

They have quite a broad selection of items from breakfasts, burgers, sandwiches, soups, salads and daily hot specials. It’s pitched somewhere towards the caff end of the market, perhaps in the territory of “greasy silver spoon”.

I was in bacon roll mood so ordered one up. I added a latte, as I’d tried their espresso before and was not a fan.

The friendly counter woman was quickly about the task of freshly preparing things. The generously filled morning roll was soon with me. It proved a tasty item with well cooked thinly-sliced bacon. The latte did the job pretty well, too.

So overall, Bites & Pieces sorted me out suitably. I’d be happy to go back for another bacon roll and I quite liked the sound of their movie inspired sandwiches (“brie encounter” or “goats buster”, anyone?!), so can see myself visiting again.
