B&D’s Kitchen and a great trip to Glasgow, with stops at Cup Tea Lounge and Laboratorio Espresso.
November started briskly with visits to I survived the freezing temperatures in Wild, which definitely takes the prize for the most completely bonkers place of 2013.
The Gujarati and East African inspired street food of Bindi gave me my best meal of the whole year, with outstandingly good dishes at an incredibly reasonable cost. I couldn’t have been more impressed. It was the month’s most popular review, also.
There were other excellent lunches at Leo’s Beanery, The Regent and the Water of Leith Bistro. La Sal and Area C Coffeehouse were both really impressive, too.
In what was another truly spectacular month, the only low points were at a couple of places that I’ll need to revisit in 2014, as they didn’t do themselves justice, on my first try.
